well I needed to update but I was a bit busy. I shall update about the past events where I went to. And ofcourse about other things ^^

frettendag van de frettenstichting:

it was alot of fun, I took chiyo with me that day. the weather was great ^_^ I traveled to Schiedam to meet Barbara there, so that I could drive with her to the open day. it was verry warm in oosterhout. It was at a camping and alot of kids wanted to know what was going on, and what a ferret was. The organisation held a competition and my sweet chiyo turned in second on the sandy color. I was so proud of her, but she has a heart desease and she had it verry warm I had to cool her down with a wet towel wrapped around her. i was glad she was with me because I think it would be warmer in my appartment. It was a succesfull day ^_^ thank you for the good time :thumbs up:

well it was alot of fun, even though it was only a saturday. Normally I’ll go the whole weekend but this time we didn’t. I went with Tonny and Martijn. there was alot to do as ussual and I saw alot of friends. I bought some doushinji’s and talked with some other friends who are in doushinji circles. also some cosplay’s looked really great ^^ and I liked the cosplay competition. think next year I’m going for the whole weekend again ^^

open huis Natasha’s frettenopvang:

It was a nice day, I bought some hammocks for the ferrets and I almost took another ferret home with me :9 to bad I didn’t because it was beauty and a playfull ferret as well. I still want another ferret for my girls but I don’t know yet when it will be happening. Natasha received a cheque that was collected by many people. it was for her shelter and it was beautiful ^^ I wish her luck with everything.

Well now about other things. since a few weeks we have a male cat in our family, if we didn’t have enough animals well his name is mani, I shall explain the name. At first we thought it was a female cat that’s what they told me, I didn’t look but it doesn’t matter. We called ( her ) nami at first, it’s of a anime called one piece. we named our other cat robin, also from that series so I thought why not name another one also of that series, so we did. when I came to the vet they said well sorry to dissapoint you but she has balls :]

Now we had to change the name of the cat, and I wanted to name him after one of the characters of that serie, but it wouldn’t fit him. I was watching tv and I was on the channel of nickelodeon there was a serie playing called “el tigre” where the lead character is called mani, and then it hit me nami was just like the character and I only had to change 2 letters. So from now on his name is mani our little maniac. he get’s along fine with Flaca the dog, they sleep and play together also Robin is starting to like to play with another cat.

And last but not least, I had another commision I have to make a birhtday card with ferrets on it, I’m getting al kind of ideas and I’m verry happy with that. So now I just have to sit for it and try to draw it.

they only problem now is that my scanner isn’t working, and I’m pretty angry about it, I’m going to email Canon about it. because there aren’t any drivers for 64 bit scanner for vista…. and I don’t want to buy a new scanner because of that problem. the scanner I have is not even that old!!! so I think they company has to come up with a sulution.

well I shall leave it with this at the moment, I’m sorry but I made alot of new drawing but I can’t do anything with them, because of the problem with the drivers

yes it has been a long time ^^; sorry for that. well I have some things to tell you. the site it updated yaaay ( if you haven’t noticed ) also there will be a few more things coming. alot of people asked me if I make postcards. and I helt a poll for that on some forums were I’m on. it came out verry positive so I was verry happy about that ofcourse tihi ^_^

I did a calculation for making the postcards and that also turned out ok, so it isn’t dificult to do..  now I’m going to work on the cards, the drawings, colors and also different cattegories. I hope they will be up soon, with some examples so that you can buy them.

please note that I also take commisions, I’m not expensive, because it’s my hobby and I just love to do it. My name is Melanie and I’m 23 years old.  I live in den haag together with my fiance. a while ago, the server where my site was on crashed. so now i have to start over. It’s ok do, because i can now make a different thing then before.
